Across our glasshouse network, we grow a wide range of indoor and outdoor plants, flowering crops, and edibles under controlled, high‑performance conditions. Our large outdoor container operation supports the production of specimen, native, and exotic trees and shrubs at scale.

Nurseries Produce
Protected Cropping - Indoor & Ornamental Plants
Our five hectares of heated glasshouses are climate-controlled using Priva Environmental Computer Software, managing temperature, humidity, lighting, watering, and fertigation with precision. This environment enables consistent, large-scale production of species that require carefully managed conditions:
- Indoor Plants - Including Phalaenopsis Orchids, Anthuriums, Bromeliads, Spathiphyllum, Begonia and tropical foliage.
- Flowering & Ornamental Plants - Hibiscus, Hydrangeas, Calla Lilies, Dahlias, Impatiens, Pelargonium, Cyclamen and a broad range of seasonal colour
- Edibles and Vegetables - Tomatoes, Capsicum, Cucumber and Egg Plant grown to retail-ready standards for garden centre supply
Tree & Shrub Nursery - Specimen & Container-Grown Stock
Our five hectare outdoor container nursery produces a broad range of trees and shrubs grown in containers from 1 litre up to 80 litres. This scale and range of container sizing is unusual in the New Zealand market and allows us to service everything from retail garden centres to large-scale landscape and development projects.

Rainbow Park has the capability to propagate from cuttings, seeds, and tissue culture - giving us control from the earliest stage of the growing cycle and supporting our contract growing service.
