Rainbow Park Nurseries produces trees and shrubs for wholesale supply to the New Zealand garden retail, landscape, and commercial horticulture markets. Our tree and shrub operation is one of the more specialised areas of the business — managed by a dedicated team under Tree Nursery Manager Al Williams and supported by our sales team — and spans both retail-format container plants and larger growing grades for landscape and commercial projects.
Our 15-hectare nursery at Ramarama includes a 10-hectare outdoor container operation, much of which supports our trees and shrubs programme. This scale gives us the capacity to meet substantial ongoing orders — the kind that smaller nurseries simply can't fill consistently — and our in-house logistics fleet, running routes from Whangarei to the South Island, ensures plants reach buyers nationwide in the condition and on the schedule they expect.
Trees and shrubs are a long-lead category. Production cycles run to years rather than weeks, which means our planning and forecasting commitments matter enormously to the buyers who rely on us.
